Research and technically rewrite the CIARD Pathways

Israel Bionyi Nyoh

ITOCA- Calls for expression of interest on CIARD Good Practice Guidelines for Agricultural Information Management.

The Information for Agricultural Research for Development (CIARD) Pathways offers a guideline on how to format research outputs such that it becomes easily available, accessible, and applicable (the 3As) by various stakeholders. It provides a simple manifesto and a checklist of good practices which guides the process that enhances effectiveness and efficiency in achieving the 3As. The principles can be used by any institution in the world. After a global consultation of CIARD members in 2013, a decision was made to further precise and concise the Pathways contents.

In conformity with the agreement, the Information Training and Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA), supported by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) is inviting experienced Agriculture Information Specialists to express interest in technically researching, synthesising, and editing the 7 CIARD pathways.
